At CAMHANS, we understand that every child learns differently. Our Special Education Department supports children with learning challenges and developmental differences, helping them reach their full potential in a caring and structured environment.
Assessment & Diagnosis
• Comprehensive psycho-educational and developmental assessments.
• Identification of Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Intellectual Developmental Disorders (IDD), and other learning challenges.
• Functional evaluation of reading, writing, and arithmetic skills to pinpoint areas of difficulty.
Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Customized learning goals and teaching strategies for each child.
• Regular monitoring and adjustment based on progress.
• Collaboration with parents, teachers, and therapists for holistic support.
Academic Remediation
• Focused interventions for reading, writing, and mathematics difficulties.
• Use of multisensory techniques and structured teaching methods.
• Skill-building exercises to improve comprehension, fluency, and written expression.
Learning Support for Intellectual Developmental Disorders (IDD)
• Functional and adaptive skills training. • Support for daily living, communication, and social interaction. • Age-appropriate academic and life skills programs to foster independence.
Parent & Teacher Guidance
• Workshops and counselling to help parents and educators implement strategies at home and school.
• Tips on behavior management, learning support, and motivation techniques.
